Drawing on international examples, the call for proposals aims to promote the involvement of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in tackling research and innovation issues arising at large companies but not related to their core activities, thus strengthening cooperation and knowledge transfer between them, as well as enhancing the competitiveness of the Hungarian SME sector.
p>By the submission deadline 2 project proposals were submitted with funding request of over HUF 200 million in total. The proposals were evaluated and ranked by a designated expert group. Based on their motion, the President of the NRDI Office recommended 11 proposals for funding to the Minister of Technology and Innovation.
